Success Stories

Nesreen Sawwan, 16

Sister Nesreen Sawwan is one of the graduates from the first-ever high school graduating class of Al-Rahmah High School. Sawwan, along with her fellow graduates, finished her high school education earlier and at a younger age than the normal student. In Fall of 2012, she will be attending CCBC where she will complete the remaining of her credits needed to transfer to a four-year university. We wish her success in all she aims to do, insha’Allah.

Nuha Mukhtar, 18

Sister Nuha Mukhtar graduated from Al-Rahmah Middle School in 2008 and went on to attend Western Senior High where she excelled in all of her studies and graduated in the top ranks of her class. As of Fall of 2012, Mukhtar will be attending John Hopkins University, insha’Allah. She also spoke at Al-Rahmah School’s 5th & 8th grade graduation this year, giving a few words of advice to her younger peers. We wish her the best in all of her endeavors.

Madiha Husain, 17

Sister Madiha Husain graduated from Al-Rahmah Middle School in 2008 and went on to attend Western School of Technology and Environmental Science. There, she ranked in the top 10 all through her high school career and went on to becoming the Secretary of the National Technical Honors Society in her Junior year. In her Senior year of high school, Husain became the President of the Muslim Student Association and organized the annual Cultural Coalescence event. As of Fall 2012, Husain will be attending UMBC as a Sherman Scholar, insha’Allah. We wish her all the best in everything she does and prays that she will succeed.
